Designing Your Ideal Company…..And Life
For a long time (almost 25 years), I had no idea that you could really have the best of both worlds. In fact, I always believed that there had to be a trade off. If you were focused on business, then something obviously had to suffer…most likely family and friends. This allowed me to justify neglecting some really important things in life and being a pretty big jerk in the process.
When I started on my second career….real estate, I decided to follow a mentors advice and actually think about what I wanted my “ideal day, month, year, and life” to look like. From there, he encouraged me to begin laying out the plans to reach that.
My ideal life is all about having a good time with my family and friends. Enjoying life and not taking myself too seriously. Designing a business where we can help a lot of people to “wake up” and build their own dream lives, have a ton of fun doing it, goof off as much as possible, and work with amazing people that all become my second family.
I’m proud to say that since 2005, we’ve been on a path to make that a reality everyday. We work hard and we play hard.
