The Mastermind concept is one of the most important keys to real estate investment business success; unfortunately it’s a concept that is often overlooked by real estate investment professionals and one that could, and should, be implemented as a core principle to live by when investing and building business.
The mastermind concept is hardly a new one. The philosophy was first introduced in the famous book, Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. In the book, Hill described the concept of the mastermind group as, “the coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people who work toward a definite purpose in the spirit of harmony” Written at the behest of Andrew Carnegie, business giants and great thinkers like Carnegie, Henry Ford and Thomas Edison all utilized the concept of mastermind groups to help leverage their ideas, opinions, information, influence, affluence, education along with those of others, to accomplish their goals.
As a foundation builder for successful business, the mastermind group is a key element that many real estate investors and other entrepreneurs, unfortunately, fail to think about, let alone invest time, energy and effort in.
Those who have become involved with mastermind groups have learned the value of leveraging their time, money, credit, and expertise; networking to grow their businesses far beyond what the average real estate investor or entrepreneur generally does.
As a real estate investor, you might be thinking that you should only mastermind with other real estate investors. You couldn’t be further from the truth; there are many business owners and entrepreneurs out there whose endeavors will compliment yours and vice versa. Appraisers, attorneys, insurance agents, mortgage brokers, contractors, interior designers, business coaches, digital marketers, realtors, and builders are just a few of many that could and would be a great benefit to a mastermind group that centers around real estate investment; not only for what they bring to the table, but for what they can get from it in terms of their own investing endeavors and general business practices.
Business building is business building and though your niche may be real estate investing, those who are in complimentary businesses are still building their own success just like you are.
