Stop Making a Living and Start LIVING: Become a Real Estate Investor
The #1 Reason Why You Must Begin Your Career as a Real Estate Investor:
You Can No Longer Afford Your Job.
Are you still just suiting up to show up, and then “living” from paycheck to paycheck?
Imagine collecting more than year’s worth of pay, just by flipping a property or two in a quarter of the time.
The other day I was at the bank, awaiting my turn, when my attention shifted to the bank teller nearest me. As I watched her work, I noted the focused, yet thoroughly bored, expression on her face and I thought to myself, “Wow… I just can’t imagine what it must be like to be chained to a JOB day in and day out”.
I left the bank and went on with my day, stopping here and there to take care of a few errands, as well as have lunch with my good friend and real estate investment business partner. As I made my rounds, I was struck again and again by the same impression: many people working their jobs and looking as though they are simply enduring mediocre, mundane lives.
The price you pay to make a living like that is simply way too high.
Granted, there are folks out there who truly love what they do and are making a good life for themselves. However, according to a study done in October of 2012 by the Society For Human Resource Management (SHRM), 43% of people surveyed said they were only “somewhat satisfied” with their employment.
The fact is, most people are employed and most depend on their employment income to support themselves and their families; a job, though, is also often a source of identity, social status and personal satisfaction. Considering that work often consumes a good portion of each day in an employed person’s life, it’s not surprising that job satisfaction is often an integral part of life satisfaction in general.
Most real estate investors that I know, including myself, are not only killing it financially but they are actually enjoying their lives because they finally have time to live them. Family time, personal time, the creature comforts and life’s frivolities are all available, abundant and accessible.
The time is now.
Stop making someone else’s dreams come true and start living.
The beauty of becoming a real estate investor is that you can start with very little money or risk and even with shaky credit. If you still need to pay the bills while you get your real estate investment training, you can partner up with other investors and work part time while you get the education and develop the relationships you need to build your business.
Some people find it quick and easy to get started and achieve success, while others have to work a few months at it; regardless though, when you put your mind to it and decide what you want, you will succeed if you take advantage of the proven strategies and systems that are available to real estate investors today. When you do, you’ll find the path to freedom to be cleaner, quicker and a heck of a lot more fun.
