We Gave Away Millions In Listings

I’m always fascinated when I take a couple of steps back away from our business and try to look at it from a different angle.

As you know by reading my posts, that’s what has been happening to 1-800-SELL-NOW in the last few months.

More and more of our clients have begun using our service to not only generate calls for investment opportunities, but they have also begun to use our service to generate calls that they could turn into listing opportunties or even acting as a buying agent for cash investors.

The point is that we have been forced to look at our business differently because the market has required us to do so. And Thank God for this – it has opened up our business to a new segment that we had not really considered before.

The world has now opened up for 1-800-SELL-NOW beyond our wildest imagination. Realtors from around the country are now coming to us in hopes that we can bring them better leads that result in REAL clients. We know that we can do this, because we do it EVERYDAY.

But I digress…..

My point in this entry today was this. In reviewing the last week, I found something fascinating. A number that we had never tracked until lately.

1-800-SELL-NOW gave away over $13,200,000 in potential listings last week across the country in areas where we do not currently have a licensee.

Over $13MM in potential listings from people that called our number because they were ready to “SELL THEIR HOUSE NOW.”

We dug around and found some real estate agents in these areas and then handed those agents a customer on a silver platter. A customer who:

  1. Called 1-800-SELL-NOW directly because they are ready to SELL NOW
  2. Is looking for help from a reliable, respectable, and trustworthy professional to help them get their house sold as quickly as possible
  3. Is ready to invite this professional into their home and begin the process IMMEDIATELY
  4. Is anxious to work with someone as opposed to being in a situation where they”may or may not” be ready to work with a realtor
  5. Represents revenue potential today – not weeks, months, or years from now

We get calls everyday from areas that we do not currently have a presence (it shows you the real value in the number – they hear the number in one market and never forget it – they call when they get home).

Like I said, our usual process is to begin looking for someone in that area that can help the caller with their problem. If it turns into a customer for 1-800-SELL-NOW – great! If not, well at least the consumer is getting help from a pro.
